The research sample was consisted of 450 patients who were selected by voluntary sampling method. The study tools were the scales of Alipour and et al’s corona anxiety, Mitmansgruber and et al’s positive and negative meta-emotions and Allport and Ross’s religious beliefs and questionnaire of Connor and Davidson’s resilience. Data after entering to SPSS software version 23 were analyzed with methods of Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with enter model. Results: The findings showed that positive meta-emotions (r=-0/294), internal religious orientation (r=-0/355) and resilience (r=-0/380) have a negative and significant relationship with corona anxiety in patients with type 2 diabetes and negative meta-emotions (r=0/336) and external religious orientation (r=0/181) have a positive and significant relationship with their corona anxiety. Also, positive and negative meta-emotions, religious beliefs and resilience could predicted the 27/6 percent of corona anxiety variance in patients with type 2 diabetes (P<0/05). Conclusions: positive meta-emotions, internal religious orientation and resilience have a negative role and negative meta-emotions and external religious orientation have a positive role in predicting corona anxiety of patients with type 2 diabetes. Therefore, designing programs to increase positive meta-emotions, internal religious orientation and resilience, and decrease negative meta-emotions and external religious orientation and implement them through virtual and e-learning workshops can play an effective role in reducing corona anxiety.
