Methods: The current experimental study was conducted with control group and pretest posttest design. A total of 32 male and female patients with coronary heart disease with least highschool education referring to Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute were selected and randomly allocated to two groups of control and intervention each with 16 subjects. Pretest was done for both groups by conflict resolution questionnaire (CRQ). The intervention group received eight 2-hour sessions once a week for the dialectical behavior therapy. Afterwards, the posttest was done for both groups. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS version 24 and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was used.
