Health is a multi-dimensional issue but various areas of women’s health have been less examined and even not identified. Therefore, scientific researches to identify such factors are needed. Thereafter, appropriate strategies for maintaining and improving women’s health, on the bases of such researches, could be employed. Before any strategic measurement, it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive research in the field of women’s health. This study aimed to identify dimensions of women's health which have been investigated in previous qualitative studies so far. Method: The study was undertaken by systematic review. All articles which have been published and indexed in relation to the quality of women's health issues on Sid, Magi ran and Iranmedex databases from 2001 to 2013 were studied. The two words "Health" and "women" as keywords were selected. Finally, 26 qualitative articles were selected. Data analysis was conducted by qualitative method of content analysis. Results: extracted concepts in the field of women's health come into three main categories including individual, family and social. The category of individual factors on women's health is subcategorized into areas of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Family factors on women’s health are subcategorized into reproductive stages, husband’s support and the vital role of wife. Also, the category of social factors of women’s health fell into subcategories of cultural factors, social-financial support and managing women’s issue. Conclusions: This systematic study attempted to provide a new interpretation of the results of previous qualitative studies on women’s health. The present study provides deeper and more comprehensive recognition of the concept of women’s health. Accordingly, the unsaid dimensions of women’s health which has not been studied yet, in Iran, were discovered. The present study could be a route map to investigate various dimensions in the field of women’s health which could make the process of health transformation shorter. M3 ER -
