To determine the effect of Orientation Program on stress, anxiety and depression in patient under coronary angiography, who had hospitalization in heart and post angio ward of shahid Beheshti center of heart in Zanjan. Methods: In a quasi-experimental, 60 patient under angiography were randomly assigned to either the test group: those who received orientation program, or the control group. Data collection tools were included: the DASS-21 Standard Questionnaire for patients' stress, anxiety and depression. Subjects' stress, anxiety and depression levels were measured before angiography. And finally the collected data was analyzed by SPSS software. Results: After intervention, the independent t-test showed that the anxiety, stress, and depression level (P<0.05) were reduced in case group. Conclusion: This study showed that patients in case group experienced lower anxiety, stress, and depression level. To reach evaluation’s objectives, we need an accurate and effective evaluation method. Methods: The aim of this study was review of nursing students’ and their teachers’ view about clinical evaluation method. This descriptive study was done in one of universities in Tehran at 2010-2011. All nursing students in bachelor course which studying in 8-2 semester (217) and, their clinical instructors (41) were population of the study. Sample size in students’ and instructors’ group was 197 and 29 participants, respectively. Data collection tool was a questionnaire and satisfaction form which their content validity was confirmed by experts. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 16. Results: The results showed the majority of students (73.6%) and teachers (75.9%) are object with current clinical evaluation method and think this is inappropriate. Also, according to the results 59.9% of students and 37.9% were unsatisfied with the current evaluation method. Most of the students (96.4%) told in this method of evaluation they do not receive any feedback. 79.6% of them believed current evaluation is based on teachers’ idea about students, not student performance. Conclusion: According to the results, both students and teacher believed an evaluation method is insufficient when it is just one global form that is completed based on teacher idea without any rules. Since the students are in training process, therefore the patients in teaching hospitals are faced with variety of medical errors. The aim of this study was to explore clinical errors of nursing students and dealing with them. Methods: In this qualitative study, purposeful sampling semi-structured interviews were performed with 30 male and female nursing students in 2010. The interviews were transcribed line by line and were analyzed according to Morse's content analysis approach. Results: Clinical error was explained as "treat for patient's life or damage". The most common error was medical and procedural errors. "Hiding" from the others was the dominant dealing approach of the students with clinical errors. Disclosing errors of the students was faced with anger of nurses and physicians, patients, their relatives, the instructor, and feeling guilty of the students. "Not asking for help or guidance, lack of knowledge and skill, not enough supervision by senior nurse or instructor" were some of related factors for occurrence of clinical errors by the novice learners. The most frequent error occasion was when a trainee received an oral order. Conclusion: The live experiences of the students indicated that error events are inevitable in clinical areas and their dominant dealing approach is hiding error.
