Introduction: Nurses, due to their exposure to stress and anxiety arising from the work environment, which can impair their mental health and performance, require a high quality of life to provide optimal care. Studies indicate that 4.7% of nurses are absent each week due to burnout or stress-related disability, which is 80% higher than other professions. The aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship between quality of life and perceived stress on job burnout with the mediating role of resilience in nurses of Amol city. Methods: The present study, in terms of its objectives, falls under applied research and, regarding the nature of implementation and data collection method, is classified as a descriptive study with a correlational design. The statistical population of this study consisted of all nurses in the city of Amol in 2023, from which 160 individuals were selected using purposive sampling. The data collection tools included the World Health Quality of Life Questionnaire, Maslach and Jackson's Job Burnout Questionnaire, Cohen and colleagues' Perceived Stress Experience Questionnaire, and Connor and Davidson's Resilience Scale. In this study, Pearson correlation tests and structural equation modeling were used for data analysis, employing the statistical software PLS and SPSS26. Results: The results of the study showed that the proposed model has a strong overall fit (GOF=0.433) and that that there is a relationship between quality of life and stress on job burnout with the mediating role of resilience in the nurses of Amol city. Conclusion: The research findings suggest that improving quality of life and resilience, as well as reducing stress, can help mitigate burnout among nurses. Therefore, planning to enhance these factors can improve nurses' mental health and occupational performance.
