Introduction: The spread of the  (COVI-19) pandemic caused the creation of medical services and attention in health care, especially for patients with chronic diseases. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of determining adherence to treatment in chronic patients during daily covid-19.
Materials and methods: In this cross-sectional study, 214 cases of people suffering from chronic diseases who were hospitalized and discharged in the first half of 2014 were continuously selected from the medical records of selected hospitals and contacted by phone after satisfaction. Mozinsky questionnaire was completed by the research team. To compare the groups using t-test, t-test and variance analysis. SPSS software was used in 16 cases.
Findings: One hundred and ten participants were female (51.4%). 119 people were in the age group of 71-90 years (55.6%) and 125 people had multisystem diseases (58.4%). All people score below 6, which weakens adherence. In examining the relationship between demographic variables and adherence to treatment, only age and education level were significant (P<0.001), so young people with higher education adhere to treatment. (P<0.001).
Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, people with chronic diseases whose management and treatment may worsen with the epidemic are neglected. This issue can have important health and economic consequences for individuals and society. Engaging community nurses in chronic disease management and promoting medication adherence is key to reducing the burden of disease on health systems.
