Introduction: Post traumatic stress disorder is a common psychiatric problem after an event of very painful and stressful events and is an exceptional threat to the life of the individual and society. The purpose of this study was to determine the structural pattern of active memory, anxiety and depression with mediating psychological Emotion Regulationin in people with posttraumatic stress disorder.
Methods: The research method is descriptive and correlational. For this purpose, a population of statistical population including all earthquakes in Sarpul-e-Zahab city was selected through targeted sampling 191 people. Then, the data were analyzed using questionnaires, active memory capacity measurement, Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II) and Hardness Scale, and was gathered.
Results: The results of data analysis using Pearson correlation and path analysis showed that all direct paths were significant. The direct standard relations between the variables of the suggested model of research showed that, respectively, hardness to memory function, depression with Emotion Regulationin, depression with memory function and anxiety with memory function were significant.
Conclusion: As a result of this research, the affirmation of the memory of the active after the injury improves. However, an important minority involves mental conditions including anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder.
